#3024 fixed wrong restart file in the middle of the run um_support xd904476
Description

Hi, I am running suite u-bl536 on Archer and yesterday I hit my disk quota so that the coupled task at year 2071 failed because files could not be written out on disk. I have now more space, but when I restarted the suite something has gone wrong with the timestamp because I have some extra startdump in the output directory and I guess the model is picking up june as start date for the ice and the ocean but january for the atmosphere: The UM restart data does not match the current cycle time . Cycle time is 20710101

UM restart time is 20710601

[WARN] The NEMO restart data does not match the current cycle time . Cycle time is 20710101

NEMO restart time is 20710601

[WARN] Automatically removing NEMO dumps ahead of the current cycletime, and pick up the dump at this time [WARN ]The CICE restart data does not match the current cycle time . Cycle time is 20710101

CICE restart time is 20710601

If I hold the suite, could I manually delete the extra startdumps on archer for 2071 and restart the suite in January? and then I could retrigger the coupled task? Or should I kill the suite and restart it with a new initial startdump?

thanks dani

#3023 answered which fluxnet sites failed? pmcguire awright
Description

Hello Patrick,

I have run my suite (e.g. AH_BC4) and in the interface it says I have had 12 failed tasks (as attached). I look at my log files for instance in : home/users/azin/cylc-run/AH_BC4/log/job/1/jules_cn_dan_p0/01/job.err

and it tells me whether there was a fatal error or just warnings. How can I find out which sites had fatal error, other than opening the log error of each site?

All the best,

Azin

#1919 fixed where do I input my Archer username in a rose suite? annette mrusso
Description

Hello, after successfully running the rose tutorial suite I have now copied a rose suite which is closest to what I'm going to be running. I've been browsing through this new suite (u-ae431) to familiarise myself with it and I find that the location, structure and format of key information is very different from the tutorial job (which is a bit confusing). In particular, I cannot find anywhere in the drop menu that allows me to input my Archer username (as I did in the tutorial job). When I try to run the job it fails (unsurprisingly), maybe because my archer username is not there or maybe for other reasons?! See error message below. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks, Maria
