Errors when trying to run job on Archer for first time

Description

Hi,

I'm trying to run a job, copied from Hector, on Archer for the first time. I thought I had changed everything correctly, but clearly not - it submitted okay, and I think began to compile, but got no further. I resubmitted it this morning just in case, but same problem. See attached for the 2 output files. Can you help?

Many thanks,

Charlie

Hi Charlie,

I think there is something wrong with your .profile on ARCHER, but I can't see you files to be able to look. Could you give us read permission on your /home and /work directories please.

chmod -R g+rX /home/n02/n02/cjrw14
chmod -R g+rx /work/n02/n02/cjrw14

Cheers,
Ros.

Hi Charlie,

We don't have vn7.1 installed on ARCHER so you need to change this line in your .profile:

UMSETUP=/work/n02/n02/hum/vn7.1/pathscale/scripts/.umsetvars_7.1; export UMSETUP

As you are running UM6.6.3 change this to:

UMSETUP=/work/n02/n02/hum/hg6.6.3/cce/scripts/.umsetvars_6.6.3; export UMSETUP

This will get rid of the loadcomp error at the beginning of your output.

Before submitting the job again, you will need to remove the file /home/n02/n02/cjrw14/um/xjria/ummodel/fcm.bld.lockon ARCHER, otherwise the compile will fail again.

Cheers,
Ros.
