Endianess of pp-files after converting with ff2pp

Description

Hello,

I use python and the iris library for analysis. There are no problems reading in the original UM output.
However, after converting to 32bit using ff2pp I get an error message concerning the endianess of the data when I try to read in the 32bit file :

Value Error: PP file [ 'xjmxda.pmm0jan.pp' ] contains little-endian data, please convert to big-endian with command line utility "bigend".

Is there a way of changing the endianess to big-endian during the conversion and/or a way to byte-swap the data files after using ff2pp?

Thank you for your help.
