UM-UKCA crash on first attempt to nudge to ERA-Interim data

Reported by: James Owned by: annette
Component: UM Model Keywords: nudging era interim
Cc: Platform: ARCHER
UM Version: 7.3

I've tried to introduce nudging towards ERA Interim data to a job that previously ran, the new job being xkpid. The model's crashed and I'm struggling to make sense of the output written to the attached .leave file.

Amongst the changes was the inclusion of a hand edit to compile with netcdf libraries (necessary if nudging whilst continuing to use 360 day ancilliaries). I realise that, though I included this hand edit, I never checked it was appropriate on ARCHER (c.f. HECTOR?).

I was wondering if that could that be the problem, and if not, whether you could point me in the right direction? I attach a copy of said hand edit too.

Many thanks,

Apologies - the .leave file was too large to attach.

Hi James,

Apologies for not answering this ticket. It slipped through the net since it seems to be owned by you, and therefore we wouldn't have received an email alert.

Is this issue still ongoing?

Best wishes,
