Disk quota on ARCHER

Dear NCAS-CMS helpdesk,
I'm running a copy of the xlavb UM-UKCA CheST+GLOMAP Release Job on ARCHER (my xlazf) but it failed after 2160 timesteps when writing dump with disk quota error.

Please can you increase my disk quota on /work/n02/n02/gmann/.

Note also that in the next few weeks I will be setting up a perturbed-physics ensemble of UM-UKCA runs based around this job so will require quite some increase to be able to run a sequence of ~50 5-year runs in total.

We'll use job-arrays on dedicated nodes and will of course set automatic archiving for the climate-means, dumps etc.

However, just to build several parallel jobs seems to require quite a lot of disk space.

I'm not sure what my current quota on /work/n02/n02 is but at the moment I don't seem to have much….

Up until now I've been running short development jobs and almost entirely on MONSOON but in the coming weeks and months we'll be submitting more capacity-type jobs on ARCHER.

On HECToR I recall having a large disk quota on /work and never encountered a problem with disk quota.

Please could you increase my /work/n02/n02/gmann quota to allow a good number of UM jobs to be built & run in parallel.
