Misunderstood error in check setup
Reported by: | tt282 | Owned by: | grenville |

Component: | UM Model | Keywords: | NEMO coupled run |

UM Version: | 7.6 |
Description
Dear all, I am trying to run the UM on archer with both NEMO and CICE coupled to the atmospheric model. To do that, I have copied a precompiled setting own by the umui and change few commands. However, when I run the 'check setup' the following error pops up:
'Errors will be output in this window
File Name Error in window atmos_InFiles_PAncil_LSH
Variable: AFILE
→ Model Selection
→ Atmosphere
→ Ancillary and input data files
→ Climatologies & potential climatologies
→ Large Scale Hydrology fields
Path Name Error in window atmos_InFiles_PAncil_LSH
Variable: APATH
→ Model Selection
→ Atmosphere
→ Ancillary and input data files
→ Climatologies & potential climatologies
→ Large Scale Hydrology fields
Verification is complete.
If an error was detected then find the window, enter and close it.
This will either generate a more informative error message or it will
result in the setting of a previously unset hidden variable.'
I have tried to open and close the highlighted window (see the attached file) but no error message comes. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Tobia

Hi Tobia
Sorry this reply is late, but you have assigned yourself as the owner of this ticket, so we don't get alerts associated with it. The owner field is probably best filled in by one of us.
Your job xlita is a vn 7.6 job - we don't support vn 7.6 on ARCHER (we did on HECToR).
We have an 8.6 GC2 (coupled atmosphere-ocean job N96 ORCA 025) - would you like that; it's quite expensive to run 'though?
We'll make sure it works before handing it over
