Description
I signed up for the temporary work space on ARCHER this morning and tried to run a new UM job, tdwps, from puma:UMUI. But umuisubmit_* files do not seem to be present in ARCHER:/home/n02/n02/masara/umui_runs/tdwps-xxxxxxxxx directory.
The submission window of UMUI shows normal messages only. As an attempt, I tried submitting my existing job, tdwpr. The result is the same. There is no umuisubmit_* files in the new run directory, tdwpr-131122225. umuisubmit_* files are present in the directory created last week: tdwpr-127135139.
Is this related to the change in ARCHER?
Here I copied all the messages shown in the submission window of UMUI from the submission of tdwpr today. These look fine although I'm not sure about the two lines at the bottom. I'm not sure if I was getting these since before.

Hi Ros.,
This works today. Thanks for further info. That's good to know…well I should have known about the $UMDIR but couldn't come up with this idea.
Masaru
Hi Masaru,
For future reference UM jobs require files and libraries that are stored in /work/n02/n02/hum ($UMDIR) so if the fs2 filesystem goes down UM jobs cannot be run.
Regards,
Ros.
