Description
Hi,
I've spent a while looking on the internet and on Jeff's web pages, but I just wondered if there is anything new to be said about installing/running xconv on a Mac. I am running OS X 10.8.5 and I'm having trouble getting the precompiled builds to run (i.e. I can't get them to run).
I use xconv on our Linux cluster all the time and I'd like to run it on my laptop too!
Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex
You can download the latest version of xconv (1.93) for OS X from here

Hi Alex
The only Mac versions I have built are very old now and were compiled on a power-pc based Mac, the latest Intel OS-X no longer runs these executables. A while ago I did start to look at building the latest version of Xconv on an Intel Mac but other stuff came up so it got left behind. If I get some time I will try and finish this off, I don't think it will be too much work. Recently I did build a Intel Mac version of Xancil if you are interested in that.
Jeff.
