Hi Alan,
oak is our external access machine so not recommended for running software on. Things are somewhat complicated as you use the tcsh and our setup scripts are written for the Bash and Korn shells. I have copied a standard .bashrc to your home directory so you can see our setup scripts.
ssh from oak to jasmin1 - jasmin6 and type:
bash
setup canopy
cf-python and cfplot are then available as import cf, cfplot as cfp.
There is a problem with our local cf-python at the moment in that it won't import and gives an error. David is aware of this and is working on a fix.
Regards
Andy
