Description
Hello,
I have been trying to complete a 12 year 9 moths run on ARCHER. The job is xmlxp - running UKCA 8.4 in three months continuation steps. It was running well but crashes on 2nd July 2016. As it was taking 2-3 days in queue, therefore,I changed the run length and tried to run it in the 1-month chunk. But again it failed twice.
The leave file contains following error:-
Server process: … Ending
0+1 records in
0+1 records out
22534 bytes (23 kB)
The leave file of the job are in /home/n02/n02/alok/output
leave files : (after run length change from 8 hours to 2:35 Hours)
Jul 5 16:49 - xmlxp000.xmlxp.d16187.t123008.leave
Jul 5 11:23 - xmlxp000.xmlxp.d16186.t180104.leave
leave file : (before run length and chunk length change)
Jul 4 13:29 xmlxp000.xmlxp.d16184.t060556.leave
I got the similar error a few weeks ago, but after resubmission it starts working, but now it's not.
I am unable to find out the error.
Thanks
Alok

The leave files alspo say this (I only looked at 2):
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!! ERROR ???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!!?
? Error in routine: UP_ANCIL
? Error Code: 500
? Error Message: REPLANCA: error finding next lookup entry for field: 7
? Error generated from processor: 0
? This run generated 8 warnings
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
so it looks like one of the ancillary files has missing data. The UM doesn't make finding this easy - I think its your ozone file - please check it.
