Rose-bush access locally

Description

Hi,

Am wondering whether there's a way to view Rosebush in my local web browser rather than the one on exvmsrose (Monsoon) which is a bit sluggish because of all the X-forwarding going on. Maybe through port forwarding or something?
I have tried using http://puma.nerc.ac.uk/rose-bush/ but that doesn't work presumably because my outputs aren't being stored on Puma. Is there an equivalent site for Monsoon?

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,

Rose-bush on MONSooN is not linked to any external-facing web server so you won't be able to see it from outside. I'm not aware of any way to forward it. You can always look at the log files in ~/cylc-run/.

If you like we can feed back the poor performance of rose-bush to the MONSooN team. It may improve when the machine is upgraded early next year.

Thanks Annette. The performance of Rose-bush itself is probably fine, it just becomes unusable over relatively slow connections because the X-forwarding requires a lot of data, particularly scrolling! There's probably not much that can be done about that though.
