Description
I'm running UM V8.5, and my job is xmvqza. My model has run for about 4 years, and now is no longer archiving.
I wonder if it's due to exceeding my disk quota (on /work and/or /nerc).
My ARCHIVEDIR=/nerc/n02/n02/tcowan/archive/xmvqz/
I checked out my .leave file for my CRUN:
/home/n02/n02/tcowan/output/xmvqz005.xmvqz.d16246.t111917.leave
and I get these types of messages:
qsserver: Waiting for command 1
qsserver: Waiting for command 2
qsserver: Sat Sep 3 14:15:29 BST 2016: xmvqza.pa1923may ARCHIVE PPNOCHART
Trying again in 5 seconds
Archiving failed with 255. Continuing anyway so manually clean up
See output in /work/n02/n02/tcowan/xmvqz/convert_output/xmvqza.pa1923may.ff.txt
qscasedisp: return code after calling qsarcher_convnc RCARC=0
Any help would be great.
Cheers,
Tim

Tim
The leave file says:

? Error in routine: U_MODEL_4A

I have increased your quota to 1TB- please try again.
I don't know what "Archiving failed with 255" means at the moment and there's nothing in /work/n02/n02/tcowan/xmvqz/convert_output/xmvqza.pa1923may.ff.txt

Thanks for that Grenville.
I'm actually just archiving by hand now, so I've just reduced some space now. Simon mentioned a possible solution which I'll try (something to do with read-write permissions).
Thanks for your help anyway.
Cheers,
Tim
