Compiling vn10.9 with Dr_Hook on ARCHER

I'd like to compile suite u-au492 on ARCHER with Dr_Hook enabled in fcm_make —> env —> Basic Compilation. But I receive the following error during fcm_make2:

[FAIL] parkind1.mod: bad or missing dependency (type=1.include)
[FAIL] yomhook.mod: bad or missing dependency (type=1.include)
[FAIL] required by: check_nan_inf_mod.o
[FAIL] required by: check_nan_inf_mod.mod

[FAIL] required by: eg_r_s_mod.mod
[FAIL] required by: atm_step_4a.o
[FAIL] required by: u_model_4a.o
[FAIL] required by: um_shell.o
[FAIL] required by: um-atmos.exe

Could you advise on the steps necessary to add the missing Dr_Hook dependencies on ARCHER?

Many thanks,

suite u-au492 might not be the best one to use on ARCHER - it's been set up specially for UKCA training with some hard wired settings and a prebuild. I changed to to use the cray complier with a full build ( ie no prebuild) & drhook and it built OK. The model failed - I'm not going there given the bespoke nature of the job.

If you insist on intel - try removing the prebuild, do a full extract & build.

A less specialist job at 10.9 is u-au173 (I've not build this with intel)

I've been alerted to the absence if on intel drhook library on ARCHER - so the intel build probably won't work.

Thanks for looking into this Grenville. I've since been granted access to MONSooN so it sounds like it might be easier for me to do drhook testing on MONSooN rather than ARCHER?
