I just helped Azin Wright with the tutorial. Everything seems to be working, except the GUIs for Rose/Cylc? on jasmin-sci2. I think we'll have to change the tutorial to use jasmin-cylc instead of jasmin-sci2.

Azin Wright is now changed over to using jasmin-cylc instead of jasmin-sci* for running Rose/Cylc? on JASMIN. Everything works fine so far. But the 'display x.pdf' command doesn't work on jasmin-cylc, so a separate session to jasmin-sci* is needed to display the PDFs. The cylc GUI from rose sgc or rose suite-run doesn't work on jasmin-sci*, though the rose edit and rosie go GUIs do work. Ag Stephens from CEDA tells me that as far as he knows nothing has been changed on jasmin-sci*.

I have helped Ewan Pinnington to use the FLUXNET and JULES suite u-al752, in order to do looping in Rose/Cylc over a control variable.
So his version of the suite can now run separate instances of JULES for each FLUXNET site and with a second loop with different values for a plant physiology control variable.

- Platform changed from Other to JASMIN
This is an online tutorial that I developed to learn how to run Rose/Cylc? on CEDA JASMIN. The FLUXNET and JULES suite u-al752 from Karina Williams (Met Office) has been used as the example.

This tutorial is supported by interactive email feedback with me (p.mcguire@…).
Several people have already completed the tutorial.
The website version of the online tutorial is often updated to reflect improvements and changes.
