Error: no interpolation: but data field size/levels are different

Description

Hello,

I tried to reconfigure a global start dump to a LAM domain, but received the error

'Error in reconfiguration!!! … no interpolation: but data field size/levels are different'

This is exactly the same problem as raised by ticket #63. Jeff fixed that job by adding a missing 'hand edit' from Chang.

Is this also the same problem here? And if so could you please tell me what the hand edit is and where I can find it on hector.

I have attached the umui output file.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew

This looks like the same problem as ticket #63, also see ticket #229. The handedit used to fix this problem is

/home/jeff/umui_jobs/hand_edits/RECONA_add_srce_4.txt

Jeff.

Hi Jeff,

I think that /home/jeff/… is your unix system at Reading. Am I right? I don't have access to this. So is the file on Hector?

Thanks for your help,

Andrew

Jeff,

I saw that I can download the hand edit from the NCAS website.

I'II let you know how I get on.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew

Hand edits are local files (on puma), so don't copy the file to hector. You can just use my copy if you want or copy it to your space. The hand edit goes in umui window

Sub-Model Independent → User hand edit files

Jeff.
