Selecting specific branch revision numbers in the UMUI

Description

Hello,

I'd like to know whether there is an option in the UMUI to select which revision number of a branch to use in a particular job.

So far, I've made a branch of VN7.1 from the main trunk, (rev no [1030]). Then I merged with a branch of Graham Mann's /UM/branches/dev/gmann/VN7.1_UKCA_MODE@997 (so my branch is now at rev no [1031], and contains Graham's UKCA updates.)

Since UKCA doesn't run yet, I'd like to know how to do a test run with my branch without UKCA at the revision number [1030] before I merged with Graham's branch. Is there somewhere in the UMUI where I can specify rev no [1030]?

Many thanks,

Rosalind.

Hi Rosalind,

If you go to the "Include modifications from branches" table in panel FCM Configuration → FCM Options for atmos and recon you will see a column marked Revision. Enter the revision number of the branch here.

In the case you describe above you'd also get the same result by entering 'N' in the Include Y/N column to switch your branch off and hence run with the standard code.

Regards,
Ros.
