Disk quota exceeded in Archer

Reported by: amenon Owned by: um_support

UM Version: 10.9

Dear CMS,

I had to recently move some ancils of 1.2 TB into Archer /work/n02/n02 for a 1.5 km simulation that I am running at the moment. I now run out of disk space in Archer. Could you please up it by few TBs? I have two more suites to run in the coming months. Thanks.

Hi Arathy,

I have increased you quota. It will take a couple of hours for ARCHER to action the change.

Hi Ros,

My suite u-be022 is failing at fcm_make with disk quota exceeded error. After you increased the quota, I didn't write out any output as the suite is stuck with a cycle with an error since then. Could you please look into this? Many thanks.

Hi Arathy,

This is your PUMA disk quota not ARCHER.

You have a lot of directories under ~/cylc-run which is taking up the majority of your quota, these need to be tidied up regularly otherwise they mount up. Please delete those for any suites you have finished running. If you still have problems after doing that please raise a new ticket.
