puzzle with processing some ocean data in HadCM3

Description

Hi,
I had some problems with a modset I wrote for HadCM3 - the job is xdoch . In this modset (see attached) I take some quantities available in the model and do some other calculations. Having realized that the numbers I got were somewhat wrong, I decided to a do a very basic check, that is to say to see whether just copying the same quantities available in the model and processing them under a different stashcode I obtain exactly the same (as it should be). But I didn't: even though I just copy them and set up the stash stuff in the same way, I obtain different numbers. This is puzzling me and Jonathan Gregory because we can't see the reason this happens. In the modset I attached I have commented the relevant part of code. I think it is not a problem of the code I've written, perhaps of stash-processing.
Many thanks

Hi

When you compare your STASH fields are you comparing say 30,234 with 30,434 in the dump file? If so these won't be the same as 30,234 using time profile TDMPMNEV and 30,434 uses time profile TDAYMNEV. If not can you tell me what fields you are comparing?

Jeff.
