Hi Andrew,

Could you delete any old cylc runs that you no longer need and also any unneeded UM extracts and working copies.

Hi Andrew,
I have increased your quota from 3GB to 5GB. Please read http://cms.ncas.ac.uk/wiki/FAQ_T4_F18 and tidy up any unneeded data as you go along.

Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy,

I think my disk quota has exceeded again. I get the 'wrong authentication' error below when I try to launch the UMUI on PUMA. Also when I run quota -v I get

anmcr@puma:/home/anmcr> quota -v
Disk quotas for user anmcr (uid 1176):

Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota limit grace

/dev/sdb3 4121432 5000000 5100000 226849 0 0

I followed the advice to tidy up my directories. So is the only alternative to increase my disk quota again?

Many thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

You have almost 1Gb of UM working copies of branches in your directory most from pre 2014. Branches that you have finished working on should always be committed to the repository and the working copies deleted. Also any suites that you've finished running the ~/cylc-run/<suite> directory should be deleted to save space.

Regards,
Ros.
