Hi Zhen,

You have modified the domain decomposition to 18x14 but this is not a multiple of 24 which is best for ARCHER. Since you haven't changed the domain you could try the original processor decomposition.

There is also some invalid STASH that you are trying to output. You can find these by running the STASH macros: it is in Metadata → Check all validator macros page in the Rose GUI. This runs a series of test most of which pass. There are some warnings that you can ignore, but it also shows invalid STASH. You can just switch these off.

Hi Willie,

This suite is copied from a standard suite u-ba767 which also has a decomposition in the website http://cms.ncas.ac.uk/wiki/UM/Configurations/Performance

I check the STASH macros and found most of variables with the errors are not added by me.

I suppose these problems will not make the model crash. Anyway, I will try your method and see what will happen.

Many thanks,
zhen

Hi Zhen,

Ah. I see. Grenville has run u-ba767 and it works fine. Could you let us know what changes you have made. This will help us to get to an answer more quickly.
