Description
Hi,
I am running the suite u-bf152 and want to archive the model output to RDF (/erc). I followed the suggestions on the website http://www.ukca.ac.uk/wiki/index.php/Release_Job_UM11.0#ARCHER_archiving_to_the_RDF_and_JASMIN
But it didn't work. Could you please help me about this? Thanks.
Best regards,
zhen

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your replies. I also have no idea why some job succeeded. I just copy the suite from others and did some test without changing postprocessing.
Actually, I did not find errors in the suite u-bf152 under /home/zliu/cylc-run/u-bf152/log/job/20130101T0000Z/postproc
Thanks.

Zhen,
you have various suites, and u-bf425 is archiving but u-bf152 is not. If you compare the site/archer.rc files you will see that under [[POSTPROC_RESOURCE]] there are differences: particularly with respect to Python. If I were you, the first thing I would do would be to use the same environment, so copy this section and run the postproc for u-bf152 again

I've dug up the detailed notes on this, take a look here: http://cms.ncas.ac.uk/wiki/Docs/PostProcessingAppArcherSetup

Hi Dave,
I followed your suggestions and copy the section POSTPROC_RESOURCE? in site/archer.rc.A short test with 10days is done but failed with archiving to RDF (/nerc).
The website you provide to me is data transfer to jasmin. Could you please further help me to look at this problem. Thanks.

You currently have pp_run set to False, so try setting it to True. (This is in the GUI under postproc-Atmosphere).

I see that you have an archive on /nerc/ with some data for this suite. Does this mean that I can close the ticket?

- Resolution set to fixed
- Status changed from new to closed
Zhen,
I see that you have postproc jobs which are succeeding, and data which is on /nerc/… Could you please explain which tasks are failing, and send me a link to the error file?
Dave
