Error in EM_FOPEN

Hi,

I am trying to convert Y2000 job to transient. I am following the http://www.ukca.ac.uk/wiki/index.php/GA7.1_StratTrop_suites/convert_to_transient

I am getting the following error:

Error in EM_FOPEN: No such file or directory - work/n02/n02/ukca/ancil/n96e/cmip6/AeroChemEms/tseries_1850-2014/CH4_biomass_low_1849_2015_time_series_grg.nc'/work/y07/y07/umshared/cmip6/ancils/n96e/timeseries_1850-2014/AerosolChemistryEmissions/v3/CO_anthropogenic_1849_2015_time_series.nc

The job.out directory is:

I have checked the files in the respective directories and find the files there. Is this the issues with the emission namelist file? How I can correct this?

It looks like an error in the namelist entry with missing space/ comma between filenames. Check that the entries in app/um/rose-app.conf under ukca_em_files are:

='$CMIP6_AEROCHEM_EMS/CO_anthropogenic_1849_2015_time_series.nc',

Thanks for this, after correcting and re-running, I am getting the following error:

Number of NetCDF emission fields: 45
Total number of emission fields: 89

where are other 44 NetCDF emission fields?

Hi Grenville,

Yes, it is. I am unable to resolve this problem.

The job.out directory is:
/home/n02/n02/alok/cylc-run/u-bg280/log/job/19970901T0000Z/atmos_main/01

1) site/archer.rc
2) app/um/rose-app.conf
3) app/um/opt/rose-app-gregorian.conf

Hi Alok,

I seem to have missed the earlier NCAS-trac e-mails.

The C5H8 (isoprene) file is required if interactive biogenic emissions are Off (l_ukca_ibvoc=false). THe next error would have been about missing Monoterpene emissions. It is likely that the list of files in the above instructions was from a suite where interactive emissions were being used -and hence the two files not required, so I will clarify that in the instructions.

In you case: include these two files in the ukca_em_files list:
='$UMDIR/ancil/atmos/n96e/ukca_emiss/biogenic/v1/MEGAN-MACC_biogenic_C5H8_clim_2001-2010.nc',
='$UMDIR/ancil/atmos/n96e/ukca_emiss/biogenic/v1/MEGAN-MACC_biogenic_Monoterp_clim_2001-2010.nc',
