Hello Patrick,

I have now run the u-bh383 (which is a copy of u-al752) successfully. I am now familiarising myself with the output data, and I have some questions. Is it possible to meet in person please?

Hello Patrick,

I summarize yesterday's questions and answers here:

To find out about JULES suite configurations (in my case u-bh383), the first file to look at is :
roses/u-bh383/rose-suite.conf
where we can set up the number of spinups, state whether we want prescribed datasets, give the path to output and plots folders, the path to fluxnet datasets, etc.

The second file to check is roses/u-bh383/suite.rc where the list of fluxnet sites, choice of using prescribed datasets, TRIFFID, Phenology and soil carbon pool/s is set. The version of the fluxnet dataset used by the suite is also given in suite.rc.

the third file to check is:
/roses/u-bh383/app/jules/rose-app.conf
where all the namelists are, and setting parameters for the JULES run take place.

More information on the configuration of prescribed datasets for fluxnet sites (ancillaires, driving datasets, lai, etc) are give in:
roses/u-bh383/app/jules/opt/

By searching the key words in the files above (in the recommended order) many questions can be answered. The parameters in rose-app.conf can be searched in JULES website. For instance looking for 'ignition_method' can be carried out by following this link:
