'__STDIN__' # return-code=127

Hello Patrick,

I am trying to run u-bl654 (it is a copy of u-bg831, which is a copy of u-al753) and it does not even compile. The suite has successfully run on Monsoon before. I have made some changes to the rose-suite.conf file to run it on Jasmin (I have kept and renamed the original rose-suite.conf file as rose-suite-original.conf). The logged error files (e.g. located at : /home/users/azin/cylc-run/u-bl654/log/job/1/jules_us_ne1_default/01/job.err) say :

/bin/sh: rose-jules-run: command not found
[FAIL] rose-jules-run <<'STDIN'
[FAIL] 'STDIN' # return-code=127
2019-08-19T15:09:54+01:00 CRITICAL - failed/EXIT

Would you know how to fix that?

All the best,

Hi Azin
I see one thing that needs changed in the suite.rc file of your u-bl654 suite. Please change:

        graph = """ JULES

        graph = """fcm_make => JULES

That way, the jules FORTRAN code will be compiled with fcm_make prior to it being run with the suite.rc JULES list of tasks.

I also see two things that need changed in the rose-suite.conf file of your u-bl654 suite. Please change the following two variables in that file:

One clue that the original values of these two variables were not set properly is that they originally were set to paths that began with /project/. This path is a path for MONSOON, not for CEDA JASMIN.
The new value for the JULES_FCM variable is not on CEDA JASMIN, but instead on the MOSRS JULES repository.

Does this solve your problem?

Hi Azin:
That's great to hear. Can I close the ticket now?
Are you running on jasmin-cylc instead of jasmin-sci* ?

Hello Patrick,

Yes you can close the ticket now. I run it on jasmin-cylc.

Hi Azin
I am glad you are running it on jasmin-cylc instead of jasmin-sci*. Then you can use the cylc XWindows GUI and see all the tasks that are run in the suite. You can see the fcm_make task for example, which wasn't there before.
I will close the ticket know.
