Description
Hello,
Regarding suite u-bm992 which is a copy of UKESM1-A set up to use the Gregorian calendar with wind fields nudged.
I've been advised to use "l_easyaerosol_sw" and "l_easyaerosol_lw" to represent stratospheric concentrations of natural SO2. These are set in Section 1-2 science settings panel. I have taken a copy of extinction, asymmetry and absorption .nc files designed to be used with the Gregorian calendar. These files are on ARCHER:
/work/n02/n02/lre/ancils/volcanic/
Unfortunately, these switches cause the "atmos-main" task to fail with multiple errors related to a dimension mismatch in the easyaerosol files. I can see which files are causing the dimension mismatch, but not the exact cause of the error. Could I please have some help tracking down what is wrong with these files?
Thanks,
Leighton.

Chris,
Thanks for letting us know
Willie
Hello,
This was a simple mistake. The EasyAerosol? files I was using contained zonally averaged values. Therefore, I needed to turn on the logical switch l_easyaerosol_zonal within Section 1.
Cheers,
Leighton.
