ld fail JULES workspace access

Reported by: jkaduk Owned by: pmcguire
Component: JULES Keywords: ld fail JULES workspace
Cc: Platform: JASMIN
UM Version:

I think, I do not have full JULES workspace access. I applied a few days ago, but I can't quite make sense of the information I get to see, when I try to check. It kind of looks like I have both - access and I have applied for access…

The mpif90 fails with: ld: cannot find -lcurl - see below.

I can't ls -al /group_workspaces/jasmin2/jules - I get a permission denied. I suspect that's why the link does not work?

Could you please check?

Thank you very much, indeed!

Hi Joerg
Yes, if you don't have jules group workspace privilege, you won't be able to change directory to the group workspace at /group_workspaces/jasmin2/jules. Sometimes getting the approval for the GWS privilege can take a week or two. You can look at your JASMIN account portal webpage to see if you are approved yet or not, for example.
I will close the ticket now.
