Description
Hi,
I am running suites u-bq336 and u-bq738 and the coupled task of both of them seem to be stuck on submitted. I noticed that the suites were not "polling", so I poll the processes manually.
Is there any way to understand whether it is just a question of waiting or something is wrong?
Best,
Dani

Hi Ros,
all the tasks are queued on ARCHER, but they've been on queue for over a day now, so I was getting worried that something was not working.
The suite is not polling automatically in any case. Shall I stop and restart the suite despite seeing the jobs in queue on ARCHER? Once I stop it, shall I also kill the corresponding queued jobs on archer or are they going to picked up?
I have all the archer process jobs occupied, therefore if they don't get picked up they will never run because of lack of available resources.
thanks

Hi Dani,
If the suite is not polling, just stop it without killing the queued tasks and then do rose suite-restart. It will update itself and reconnect to all the queueing tasks.
Cheers,
Ros.

Hi Ros thanks.
I did this last night and it is still polling now.
It must be just a question of waiting then.
Thanks

Hi Dani,
Log onto ARCHER and check if the coupled tasks are actually running or if they are still in the queue (ie submitted) using qstat.
If they are running or have finished, then try closing down the GUI and starting it back up again. If that doesn't jolt it into updating then do the usual stop and rose suite-restart of the suite.
Regards,
Ros.
