running HadGEM on HECToR

Hello,

1) Could you please tell me whether I can run HadGEM on HECToR. I had a look through the sample jobs on PUMA, but one for HadGEM did not seem available.

2) If it is possible, are ozone ancillary files available with post and pre industrial ozone?

Hello Andrew

1) You certainly should be able to run Hadgem on HECToR. There are different versions of Hadgem. For version 1 you could use Jeff's job xcrma and xcrmb, which he used ffor testing HECToR when it first was in service. For version 1a you could use my job xcimr and xcims. I am not sure about a 'standard' sample job for Hadgem2 and Hadgem3 is not yet generally available.

2) There is a 'standard' ozone ancillary file that came with the job from the Met Office
/work/n02/n02/hum/vn6.1/ancil/atmos/qrclim.ozone.cariolle
but if you need different ozone ancillaries you may need to contact someone at the Met Office.
