The user is using MobaXterm.
The user has done the 1st three steps in the email from CEDA JASMIN last week, but fails in the third step.
The failure is when trying to ssh -AX jasmin-login1 or ssh -AY jasmin-login1 (after the exec or eval shell step, and the after ssh-add key step). We also tried ssh -AY jasmin-login2.
We will continue trying to debug this after the Departmental Seminar.

We finished debugging the ssh keys to CEDA JASMIN.
Connections to jasmin-sci*, jasmin-login*, and jasmin-xfer1 all work now in MobaXterm from the user's Windows PC, either from 'saved sessions' icons in the MobaXterm GUI or from the MobaXterm terminal command line.
One key factor was that the new ssh key had not been copied correctly to the JASMIN accounts portal, but there may have been other factors involved with the failure to connect by ssh to CEDA JASMIN.

The University-owned Windows laptop had to be wiped and everything reinstalled in early March. So many of the previous MobaXterm settings had been erased. Reinstituting the settings helped to allow things to run better, especially after the request to change ssh keys last week by CEDA JASMIN.

The user has been urged to (in the future) contact support AT ceda.ac.uk first in such JASMIN ssh queries, and they can respond and redirect the query from there. The user has also been urged to practice doing MobaXterm ssh-key setup now, especially since the user is getting a new (non-University-owned) Windows laptop very soon.
