UNRECOGNISED time profile request T6HMONM

Description

Hi,

I've been having problems dealing with the error shown below which occurs in atmos main

???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!! ERROR ???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!!???!!!
? Error code: 16
? Error from routine: rdbasis
? Error message: UNRECOGNISED time profile request T6HMONM
? Error from processor: 0
? Error number: 25

In brief I added some stash to a (previously working) rose-app.conf file for suite u-bv400 using time profiles T1HR and TMONM (not T6HMONM) and output these to UP9 and UPI respectively. I tried deselecting all stash items with references to T6HMONM to no avail. I can't understand why adding stash to other time profiles would cause this error.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers,

James

Hi James

I had a look at your suite u-bv400 on Monsoon and there seem to be a lot of problems with the STASH. The biggest problem is a missing quote (') on line 29734 of file app/um/rose-app.conf.

If you change the STASH it is always a good idea to run the Validate macros in rose edit, located in the STASH requests panel. This will throw up lots of errors you should try to fix, e.g. STASH using usage profile UP9 which is turned off, identical STASH profiles and requests etc. If TidyStashValidate? gives errors try and fix them with TidyStashTransform?. Some errors might not cause the model problems but it is best to fix them if you can.

If you still have your original error after fixing this, I can take a further look.

Jeff.

Hi Jeff,

Many thanks for your help. I've corrected the missing quote and ran TidyStashTransform? and the number of errors decreased. I believe all the remaining errors refer to stash which are deselected as a result of switching from Strat-Trop to CRI-STRAT but I will review these again. The model now runs which is good.

I'll let you know if I have any further problems.

Best,

James
