Bad passphrase on cylc1 on JASMIN

Hi Patrick,

Hope you are doing well.

I started working on JASMIN and following your tutorial on how to setup ROSE/CYLC to run JULES on CEDA JASMIN.

My question is: I am getting "Bad passphrase" when I attempt to login to @cylc1.jasmin.ac.uk which is the same as the passphrase I use to login to @login1.jasmin.ac.uk. Can you think of any reason for that?

Did your ssh key work before? or is this your first time using it?

Hi Amsalework

When you try to ssh to cylc1, are you doing this from login1 or directly from your local computer?
Are you doing this with ssh -AX or with ssh -AY ?

I ssh from login1 and with -AX option. Now it is working, I think the problem was I was using another laptop other than I generated the ssh keys??

I'm glad it's working now.

Yes, if you want to use ssh with keys on another computer, you will need to copy your keys to the other computer.

I will close the ticket now. I you need further help, don't hesitate to open another ticket.
