Hi,

I am trying to set up the PPTransfer app to transfer all the UM data from ARCHER to JASMIN. The suite-id is u-by690 and I have run it with a run length of P6M and a cycling frequency of P1M for a test run (will eventually run it for >20 years). I have realised that some of the streams are being copied over to JASMIN every x cycles, for example, UPC seems to be collated and transferred at the end of the simulated year. Would I be able to change the settings such that all streams are outputted and copied over for every cycle?

Hi Daniel

The file reinitialization frequency determines when it will be archived - that is set per stream under Model Output Streams, click on pp0 (say), set reinit_step to the cycle length. Repeat for other streams (the reinit_step can be a factor of the cycle length of course.)
