There isn't one, on monsoon you can only use the umui submit button.

Would it be straightforward to create one?

I can't use UMCET as I each of my ensemble members needs to reconfigure a different start dump and I am not manually running 96 reconfigurations! So I have my own scripts, but I require a umsubmit script either for launching my jobs from PUMA or directly on the MONSooN machine.

Hi Leon

On puma in your experiment directory there is a file called REMCOMMS, it may be possible to use this to submit your jobs via a script running on monsoon. You need to scp this to file to monsoon and run it, this is basically what the submit button does. It is better to do this on monsoon as then you will not have to put in your pin code 96 times, and if you've set up ssh correctly it shouldn't ask for a password/passphrase either. The only problem with this idea is that REMCOMMS is not created until you press the submit button, if you select cancel when the window asking for your passcode comes up then the file will be created. So if your script takes 1 job and modifies it 96 times then using this file should work, if you create 96 jobs then it probably won't help much.

I take one job and modify it 96 times, so that should work well. Thank you for your help!
