Problem creating branch in FCM GUI

Reported by: swr05keh Owned by: ros
Component: FCM Keywords:
Cc: Platform:
UM Version: 7.1

I have completed the UM FCM tutorial and I am now trying to create my own FCM branch. I have included the line inc ~um/fcm/etc/um_revisions.cfg in my .fcm file and created a work directory called um. In the FCM gui I have entered um as the URL, double_GC as my branch name and vn7.1 as the source revision. When I try to run this I get the error:

vn7.1: revision keyword not found for in FCM configuration file, abort.

The only difference between this and the tutorial branch is that the URL and branch name have changed. Is there something else that I might be doing wrong?

Hi Kirsty,

Make sure you have fcm:um in the URL box and not just um.

You'll also need to add --password "" in the Other options field in order to create your first branch in this repository.
