cannot use the CAP service

Hi,
I cannot use the CAP service.
After I fill in the general form and pres another tab,
I get a pop up window telling me that I need to have a UK academic email address.

Is it possible for me to use this service?

But the CAP service still rejects me.

It is common to use renzy or rezney for my surname instead of rezny.
Is the email checker case sensitive?
I also tried Michael.Rezny@… without success

I just ran the CAP with michael.rezny@… as the email address and the job was submitted ok - you should get an email when it's done. It's currently only a bit of javascript that validates the email address, so could it be that you need to clear the browser cache to get the latest version?

The email checker is very primitive; for you it's looking for michael.rezny@… in lower case. We can open this up when more users come on board, in which case just a check on institution might be the better way to go.

Which browser are you using?

You are correct.
I restarted my browser and the CAP service accepts my email address.
