probs running global-meso nested

I'm using the global basis file
"basis_n320_lbc_dummy" from
webpage to give
inputs to mesoscale basis file "basis_xcahd_12km" from webpage

(I've not used the global "basis_global_xcahb" from the index_61me.html
webpage since it's old global and I want to run for 2006 (new global))

I've obtained the relevant stash & hand edit files but I now get a problem running meso implying wrong initial dates although in UMUI I have the same for both global and meso. The relevant '.leave' file is

Hi Michael,

I can't read your file. Please change your permission so I can have a look.

Hi Michael,

Without seeing your UMUI file, it is difficult for me to tell what caused your problem.

All I can do is to guess soemhting. For running LAM domain, you need to to have dump and boundary files. The boundary file should contain boundary data at the time which matches the start dump.If you did not change boundary file to match your dump, then I am sure that will be the problem.

If you use the guest01 account on, then UMUI basis file is xaacb belonging to michael. I've also attached it. (I'm presuming further the info would also be somewhere on HPCx when the 'umsubmit' copies files over?) As far as I can tell the dates in meso are same as in global. Thanks, Michael
