Description
I had no problem to launch UMUI on PUMA, however, when I try to open a job in UMUI, I met a error:
dh023729@puma:~> Error in startup script: error writing "file4": no space left on device while executing "puts -nonewline $fp $basis" (procedure "get_basis_file" line 32) invoked from within "get_basis_file $exp_id $job_id $job_file $read_write" invoked from within "set writable [get_basis_file $exp_id $job_id $job_file $read_write]" (file "/home/umui/umui/ghui2.0/vn1.4/tcl/edit_job.tcl" line 48)
The UMUI still worked properly for me last week. And I donot think it is quota issue:
Disk quotas for user dh023729 (uid 1229): Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota limit grace /dev/sdb3 44296 1000000 1100000 6687 0 0
Thanks,
Liang

Clearing out the /tmp file system resolved this problem.
A clean-up program now runs regularly to remove any files older than 40 days from /tmp.

tickets.
Hi Liang,
The /tmp file system is full. I've removed all files I own from /tmp so hopefully this will allow the UMUI to keep running until Andy, our sys admin, arrives.
Regards,
Ros.
