Description
I wish to run the atmosphere only configuration of UM 6.6.3 on Hector at N96 resolution and I require a climatological sea surface temperature field i.e. one value at each grid point for each month of the year. Something like this for N48 resolution seems to exist at /work/n02/n02/hum/ancil/atmos/n48/sst/hadisst_6190/v1/qrclim.sst - is there an equivalent somewhere for N96, on Hector or Monsoon? Thanks for your help.

Thanks Willie. I took a look at those and they seem to be time-evolving fields i.e. they change every year, rather than a climatology which gets repeated year after year.

Hi,
On HECToR, you might also want to take a look at
/work/n02/n02/hum/hg6.6.3/HG2AMIP_ancils/sst_amip_1870-2008

Ros.

Hi Ros,
Thanks for the reply. Again though that looks to be a time-evolving field rather than a climatology.
Cheers,
Peter

Hi Peter,
One option is to use the central Ancillary program to generate the file for you. See

- Resolution set to fixed
- Status changed from new to closed
Hi,
I don't know if these are "equivalent" but they may be worth investigating.
