Description

Hello,

I'm having problems to recompile a global model executable. This is a version that previously ran without problems which makes the case more puzzling.

The error in the .comp.leave file indicates that -lsci_istanbul_mp could not be found. The relevant lines are the following:

touch /home/n02/n02/oma/xfwbz/ummodel/done/um_shell.done

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Oscar,

This is due to the HECToR maintenance upgrading some of the modules we use. I have created a hand edit: ~willie/hand_edits/bld_swap_xt. If you include this it should work.

Regards,

Willie

Hi Oscar,

We've adopted a more solid solution, so you don't need to bother with the hand edit - it should work now.

Willie

Hi Willie,

Thanks for that. I've used the hand edit and it worked, but if there is a more robust solution, I won't use it anymore in the future.

Now I have a different problem. I'll open a different ticket to describe it to you.

Thanks,

Oscar
