Description
Hi,
I've just started trying to move some data to the RDF on HECToR. The files seem to be moving ok (I can view them in xconv etc.), but I get a message like the following for each file:
mv: setting attributes for `./xgxum/xgxuma.pbt8oct': Operation not supported
I'm not sure what this means. Do you know if it is something I need to worry about?
I'm moving the files from my work directory to /nerc/n02/n02/bharvey
Many thanks,
Ben

Here's HECToR's response to Ben's query:
Dear Ben -
This is a Lustre error, and results from using the mv command to move
files between a lustre(work) and non-lustre(rdf) filesystem. You should
use cp instead and then delete the originals from work once they have
been copied to the rdf.
Please let us know if you experience any further problems.
Regards,
Irina
