    55We are currently experiencing a very slow network between Reading and ARCHER.  This is affecting connections between PUMA and ARCHER, including submissions of UM jobs which may be very slow or fail.

    7 Andy, ARCHER & Reading University IT are looking into this and we will send an email to the PUMA mailing list when we have an update or the situation is resolved.

     9It might be that this problem is a more general one between us in the south and Archer in the north as a similar intermittent slow network connection to Archer has been reported from Exeter, Oxford and London. It’s a bit early to say if this is the case and more information and tests need to be done.
